“Our First Nativity” was performed by Little Farmers in the nursery. As the children had started with eight weeks preparation and with only two full rehearsals before the actual performance, they were out of this world and made it their own.It has been a Little Farmers’ project, aged between 3-5 years old creating, decorating and assembling most of the sets and scenery, and the parents provided fantastic costumes creating an unforgettable memory for family members and the nursery.
Rupert’s dad said: “It was lovely to watch, we all were very excited to see it, we enjoyed the whole performance from start to finish. We are so proud of Rupert to pull it off today. His hard work and singing at home have made this an extra special time in his life”.
Nursery practitioner and team leader Zoe Dewhurst said: “The Farmers have really enjoyed it. They have all done so well and impressed us so much, and the team effort from staff and children has been amazing. "Staff have an excellent knowledge and understanding of the children's individual needs and provide a stimulating environment where all children are excited and motivated to learn. Observations of children are consistently used to plan for children's individual next steps in learning."
