The children were able to meet numerous skills from the EYFS and COEL and had a fantastic group time activity sharing, taking turns, and sharing their personal photographs with their friends, which they were very proud of.
The Ducklings children have really enjoyed exploring The Very Hungry Caterpillar story as part of their recent topic. The children learnt about life cycles, and brought in photographs of themselves as babies to look at how they have changed, just like the caterpillar. At snack time the children enjoyed trying lots of different fruits from the story and were able to talk about the colour, texture and taste of each one. Strawberries were definitely a favourite!
